American scene---the minstrel show. This is a dramitized
story of Daniel Decatur Emment, the first of the great minstrels
who donned burned cork and sang his way into the heart of
the country with the immortal song, "Dixie". This film is
a delightful musical suitable for the entire family and
has long been suppressed due to its perceived racial stereotyping.
